Etched Glass In Its Travelling Case

Very beautiful straight thick crystal glass engraved all around the windings of foliage with on one side the symbols of love with an altar surmounted by 2 doves and framed by 2 fires and 2 hearts below, the other side the letters F and S intertwined in very beautiful characters; this glass also bears the date of 1893 engraved. It is in its original brown leather-wrapped cardboard case stamped on the cover with the same love motif as the one seen on the glass. the glass is in a perfect state of conservation and the case has some slight visible gaps but in good condition with in particular perfect hinge and closures.

Although this glass is engraved with the yerr 1893this is not à year  of fabrication but the year  when it has been offered
this glass is from the beginning of the XIXth century.
