Terracotta Bust Of Dh Chiparus
Superb and important sculpture of a man's bust in terracotta by the famous sculptor DEMETER H. CHIPARUS (1886-1947) in art deco style. This bust is presented on a parallelepipedic base, the shirtless man with an affirmative look, a mid-length hairstyle pulled on the back which could make thought of the representation of Jean MERMOZ ?. The features of this sculpture have a powerful Art Deco stylization and the original patina is superb. Quality work in excellent condition, incised signature "DHChiparus" on the base.
