Alfred, Arthur Brunel de Neuville is a French painter of still lifes and animals born and died in Paris Member of the Society of French Artists, he took part in his exhibitions from 1879 and became a member in 1907. His works are presented in several museums: Béziers, Brest, Château Thierry, Louviers Our oil on canvas features a basket overflowing with grapes with translucent grains accompanied by pear, apple and peach with velvety skin, placed on an entablature with in the background, a bottle surrounded by raffia. Signature quality paint lower left. Our work in excellent condition is presented in its important original frame in high quality wood and gilded stucco.
