Madame Elisabeth - Elisabeth Philippe Marie Hélène of France, known as Madame Elisabeth was the sister of King Louis XVI, to whom she gave unfailing support during the French Revolution.
In the 20th century, in 1953, she was raised by the Catholic Church to the rank of Servant of God for her piety and charity.
Charlotte-Jeanne Béraud de La Haye de Riou, Marquise de Montesson, nicknamed Madame de Montesson, was a French aristocrat, writer, and the secret legitimate wife of Louis-Philippe, Duke of Orleans.
During the French Revolution she was imprisoned, but she was quickly released, because her benefits for the poor, to whom she provided her greenhouses during the cold winters, by removing flowers and trees, and giving food and shelter, were not forgotten. She was a friend of Josephine de Beauharnais, the first wife of Napoleon Bonaparte, who also earned her patronage and friendship.
