Salon cannon, Gribeauval type, Louis Philippe period dated 1844

Bronze cannon on its ash mount reinforced with an iron frame, known as a "shod mount."
Mouth 25 mm, body and light intact, in perfect working order.

The squishy offset wheels, typical of Gribeauval, are made of ash with 4 arches mounted with tenons and mortises and 8 flat spokes, surrounded by an iron bandage with 4 nails.
Some traces of use and xylophagous insects as well as a small lack of metal on the end of one of the flange brackets (see photos).
