Medicis Porcelain Vases Old Paris
Pair of Medici vases in Old Paris porcelain from the early 19th century, painted and gilded by hand. Vases representing on the front the portrait of two religious icons including Mary and Jesus and on the back the name Jesus surrounded by a laurel wreath. The two vases have two short handles painted in gold resting on men's heads for the one with the portrait of Mary, and ram's heads for the one with the portrait of Jesus. The vases are in their used condition, no breakage or restoration, only the gilding is erased in places.
