"Chalice Louis XV, Namur 1767, Adrien Ancheval, Sterling Silver"
Sumptuous chalice from the Louis XV period in sterling silver. The top is delicately guilded on the inside and on the outside edge. It is tall and heavy, made entirely of sterling silver(958%). On the foot it bears the full hallmarks of the city of Namur and of the goldsmith Adrien Joseph Ancheval II for the year 1766-67. But we know that he did not become master until 1767. Weight 600 grams.
