Louis XVI Period Secretary Stamped J.manser

Beautiful secretary with cut sides opening to a drawer, a flap and two leaves. Decor inlaid with rosewood arranged in butterfly wings, boxwood net and amaranth with Greek double motifs on the flap and simple Greek style on both leaves. Framing of amaranth.
Ornamentation of chiseled and gilded bronzes such as pull handles and keyholes.
The flap covered with tan leather reveals four drawers and three lockers.
Triple point lock and wrought iron lock for the leaves.
Royal red marble top.
Stamped J.MANSER and JME.
Very good condition, the locks, bronzes and marble are perfectly original.

Louis XVI period, 18th century.

Provenance private collection from the North of France.
