A large, beautiful French secrétaire from the second half of the 1800s, in the Louis XV style, made of violetwood. It features a top in Macchia Vecchia marble, bronze fittings, and inlaid trim on the front and sides. The interior features drawers and open compartments finished in walnut burl.
