ADJUDENT COMMANDING BELT PLATE, MODEL OF THE 1st VENDEMIAIRE YEAR XII (September 24, 1803), CONSULATE - FIRST EMPIRE. In cast bronze, rectangular in shape. H 6.4 cm, width without curvature 8.3 cm, with curvature 9 cm. It represents in its center a sword pointing upwards against the background of a bundle of flags linked together by a laurel wreath. The bottom of the plate is sand with branches of oak leaves and laurel. Beaded framing border with sandblasted bottom, itself bordered by solid protruding nets. Complete with its trigger guard with two barbs and its rear hook. Very good condition, plate having retained its gilding. France. First Empire.
