Shop counter from mid-800,made of walnut, from France.
The counter has three sides closed by solid walnut panels,
and an open one from which you can access
to a large compartment divided in the middle by a shelf.
The top, also in walnut with marked veins,
it bears the signs of wear due to its use.
The undulating frame under the top gives it a touch of elegance.
Ideal as a bar counter or reception.
Restored and polished with shellac with wax finish.
