Large Golden Frame Louis XVI Style Said
This large Louis XVI style frame is from the Napoleon III period. it could be suitable for many subjects. Its large size (except standard) and the simple repetition of its decoration allows it: no center, just an ornament of acanthus leaves to redo in each of the two angles. Its decoration of canals and anthemion flowers in the throat is bordered towards the view of a row of pearls and on the top of the molding of a fine frieze of ribbon framed by two listels. The frame belt is also gold.
