Small Louis XV table with a so-called "cabaret" table in Gaïac and cherry wood, it opens with a drawer hidden in the front cross member. The four uprights in Gaïac wood are curved, molded, carved with an acanthus leaf and end at the base with small scrolls. The sleepers are carved with a leafy shell that stands out against a mesh background. The tray says "cabaret" deeply excavated. Port work in the Bordeaux or Rochelaise region or the carpenters attracted by the beauty of the Gaïac which acquires a superb patina have created for the pleasure of a shipowner a small rare and original table by combining it with a wood from the region of the cherry . Very good condition, missing the lock, drawer slides replaced, small angle of the restored tray.
