Furniture at Louis XIV-style support height, Boulle, in blackened pear on a background of turtle scales with red tint. Ornamentation of chiselled bronzes and brass nets with arabesque decorations and stylized foliage. The central oval medallion door opens onto 2 shelves in mahogany veneer with blackened pearwood edge and brass threads. The medallion is decorated with a flower basket in a shower base vase as well as birds, butterflies, musical monkeys, dragonflies, squirrels. Uprights surmounted by bronzes in the shape of a bust of women and garlands of flowers.Top with white veined marble. Period NIII. XIXth century.
