A rare and unknown porcelain plate, with gilt rim, ornate at the center with the gilt cipher of the Comte d'Artois, the monogram CP for Charles-Philippe de France, brother of kings Louis XVI and Louis XVIII, under the crown of “Prince du Sang” with stylized fleurs-de-lys.
Good condition.

History
The Duban manufactory was built by Louis-Picard Duban, established rue Coquillière (now Hérold), and was owned then by his son Louis-François Duban, who died in 1824. According to the Almanach du Commerce, the factory opened in An 6 (1797-1798) and closed in 1827.
