Old Sapphire Diamonds Ring With Godrons

Tank ring composed of three rings. The one in the center has an oval cushion sapphire set with 4 large prongs, supported by 2 x 2 old brilliant-cut diamonds. On both sides, two rings, in the form of a rush, are paved with diamonds with on each side of the setting of the falling gadroons.

Period: 20th century
Main material: yellow gold, 750 thousandths, 18 carats, eagle head and platinum hallmark, dog head hallmark.
Total weight of the sapphire: approximately 1.81 carat.
Total weight of diamonds: approximately 0.50 carat.
Proportions: Height: 17.4 mm, width: 21.3 mm, thickness: approximately 6.5 mm, width of the ring at the base: approximately 7.7 mm.
Net weight: about 15.9 g.
Ancient jewel - French work of the early 1940s.
