An antique chain that was used to hold an antique pocket watch; it consists of links with geometric, articulated designs.

At one end is a chiseled motif depicting a gloved hand holding a screw-lock clasp.

This clasp can be used to attach a pendant or to secure the end of the chain to form a double-strand necklace.

A slide engraved with arabesque motifs adorns both rows of the chain.

Length: approximately 67 cm; chain thickness: approximately 2 mm.

Slider length: approximately 15.3 mm; width: approximately 12.1 mm; thickness: approximately 8 mm.

Clasp length: approximately 3.5 cm, width: approximately 10.2 mm, thickness: approximately 5.2 mm.

Net weight: approximately 14.9 g.
