Pair of Plates with decoration called "cabbage leaf" trendy birds, detached bouquets and nets and combed blue and gold, hard Sèvres porcelain, Mark in green "manufacture of state 1919" crossed out, painter's marks in blue.
Under the patronage of Louis XV, the Sèvres Porcelain Manufactory became one of the most influential factories in Europe. Sèvres continuously produced fashionable new designs which were widely admired and imitated.
In 1824 then in 1917 the Kings of England George IV and Georges V ordered from the Sèvres factory a Cabbage Leaves Service decorated with bird cartridges
