Portrait of King Charles X.
Oval miniature painted on ivory, inspired by the portrait of François Gérard of 1825 and the official miniatures of Daniel Saint, representing him in a three-quarter bust on the right, in uniform wearing the Order of the Holy Spirit, the Order of Saint-Louis, the Legion of Honour and the Lily, on a brown background (good condition).
Preserved in a beautiful wood and ebony veneer and gilt bronze frame, oval view in guilloché gilt brass (crack).
H. 10.2 x L. 8.5 (miniature).
H. 27 x L. 18 cm (frame).
