Snuff Box In Sterling Silver Niellé And Vermeil Russian Landscape Nineteenth Century

Beautiful snuffbox in solid silver and niellated vermeil with Russian landscape decorations, neoclassical arabesques and flowers. Very nice French work since the lid has a punch of master and a punch of neck brace. I can not read the punch of the master. The box also carries a small guarantee "boar head" inside. The interior has a vermeil of very good quality (mercury) but there are some scratches (the box has not always had tobacco), visible in photo 4. The object is in very good condition, it bears some traces of wear on the corners (to have rubbed in a pocket probably), but the set does not involve any blow or accident. Dimensions 7.5 cm long X 4 cm wide x 1 cm thick. Weight 66,34 gr.
