Gilbert Pajot is surely one of the most exciting and intriguing unofficial Navy painters of the first half of the 20th century. Repeating the iconoclastic and naive style of his father Paul-Émile, fisherman sailor sinner become painter. Gilbert Pajot made his career making portraits of boat, port and fishing scenes.
