Antique Hand Painted Fan. The leaf is in "cabretille" (skin) painted of a gallant scene, A couple is surrounded by children, the young man offers a bird in a cage, Cupid prepares his arrow! ... Superb mother of pearl sticks engraved, reperceived, Burgundy and encrusted with gold and silver. It measures 10,63" closed and 20,47" in diameter. The first side is in good condition, there are restorations on the back of the sticks, visible on the photos and two light restorations on the back of the leaf. Circa 1880, in the style of Louis XV period.
