Silver milk jug resting on four legs in foliage applique, the swollen belly presents an embossed and chiselled decoration of leaves and bouquets of flowers in falls and garlands. Marie Antoinette's knuckle collar is adorned with a pair of birds in flight and the edge is underlined by a frieze of wavelets.
