"Tapestry "exotic Greenery""
Tapestry "Verdure exotqiue" woven in wool and silk in the Workshops of the Royal Manufacture AUBUSSON in the eighteenth century after a cardboard PILLEMENT painter carton amateur exoticism whose realization of this gence of green boxes echoed the unbridled taste, at the end of this century, for the "chinoiseries". It represents a large bird walking along a lake in which we discover a bridge and a large central fountain. Tapestry surrounded by yellow and blue stripes. Good condition. Restorations of use and maintenance for its conservation. Tapestry lined and mounted on Velcro for easy installation.
