Oil On Canvas By René Zimmermann

This large framed oil on canvas depicting the quays of the Seine at Saint Cloud signed René Zimmermann and dated 1943. René Zimmermann born in 1904, he died in 1992 in Paris, this French painter of animated landscapes and typical urban landscapes. He appeared at the Salon des artistes foréziens in 1936.
