Round compotier on pedestal shaped porcelain cup with burnished gold decoration in the center of trellises, wing with blue background and heightened gold in imitation lapis lazuli. Royal Manufactory of Sèvres, 1820. Marked: interlaced LL, fleur de lis and 20. D. 21 cm. Comes from the service called "Lapis basket of flowers" issued in April and May 1822 on the orders of King Louis XVIII to Vicomte de Chateaubriand, Ambassador of France in London.
