"Pair Of Empire Silver Candlesticks, Early 19th Century"
Pair of silver candlesticks, Empire period.
The round base is decorated with water leaves and gadroons, the barrel "quiver" is crowned with palmettes. Original wax drop stops.

Punchs: Paris 1st title, 1809-1819.
Average guarantee. Association of Parisian silversmiths.
Master silversmith: Sixte-Simon Rion, got his hallmark in 1807.

The permanent collection of the Petit Palais (Museum of fine arts of the city of Paris) keeps a timbale of this same silversmith.
