"Stone Well, Late Romanesque"
Round stone well of Hauteville-Lompnes, formed by 5 elements connected by a strapping. End of the Romanesque era, XIIth century. The frame and the wrought iron pulley are later, 19th century. It is unusual to see the trace of the rope on the stone elements. Height stone elements: 80 cm Outside diameter of the well: 120 cm Inside diameter of the well: 85 cm Total height with pulley: 150 cm
