Marc Batifol Bronze Edition Abstract Sculpture

Beautiful gilt bronze Signed and numbered 3/8 On its base in oak. Biography: Marc Batifol began sculpture at the age of 11 and made his first commission at 17, he lives in Nice and follows the teaching of the School of Decorative Arts. At 20, he joined the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. All his life, he sculpts different materials, sometimes monumental for public orders. He participates in different Salons and exhibits outdoor plays at the Luxembourg Garden. His sculpture is inspired by nature, organic forms and his various travels, especially in Africa.
