Psyche Napoleon III

Large mirror called "Psyche" Napoleon III, unique piece inlaid plant motif of different wood species. The mirror is held by two columns of blackened rudentées wood flutes embellished with golden brass asparagus and at their peaks gilded bronze pine cones, two original gilded bronze candlestick complete this rocking mirror. A pediment in Constable's Hat encompasses it in its upper part and rests on an arched base composed of acanthus leaves. It is a majestic piece recalling all the splendor of the bourgeois society of the time.
