Superb and rare large painting of the eighteenth time representing "the presentation of Jesus in the Temple". It is an event of the life of Jesus as it is recounted in the gospel, fulfilling a Jewish law prescription "all first born male will be consecrated to the lord" His parents offer the baby Jesus to the temple of Jerusalem where he is received by Simeon. This painting is directed by Claude Arnulphi (1697-1786) famous French portraitist who studies in Rome and exersa in the south of France. Superb quality of paint colors are bright and bright.
