French School of the eighteenth century, oil on canvas depicting the portrait of Marie Anne Victoire of Spain, daughter of Philip V of Spain and Elisabeth Farnese. Nicknamed "the Infanta Queen" because of the engagement with King Louis XV of France. She finally married Joseph I of Portugual and was queen and regent of Portugal. She was the godmother of Marie Antoinette. She is painted here holding the crown of France when she was betrothed to Louis XV who finally married Marie Leszczynska.
