Pair Of Armchairs Cabriolets Style Louis XVI Directoire
Pair of armchairs Louis XVI style, Directoire, mahogany, 19th century, covered with a beautiful silk fabric, (slight small aureole on one of the armchairs, see last photo). Ornamentation of palmettes, front base fluted, with as soon as connection in square and flowers, rear feet curved outwards in the form of saber (in the Etruscan), square section. The curved crosier back, with a curved cross-member, winds in a volute towards the rear. These chairs have been recently renovated.
