Pair of gilt copper candlesticks of the Louis XVI period.
The bases and the hoes are chiselled with acanthus leaves, the barrels are grooved.
In 1805, Claude Galle sold two pairs of identical candlesticks to the Palais de Fontainebleau, intended for the King of Naples' apartment (inventory of 1807).
