Period Commode Transition; In satin veneer, amaranth, light wooden threads and tinted wood, with geometric decoration; Opening by three drawers in three rows. The side panels are slightly raised. The smaller upper drawer separated from the other two by a cross-member. Amounts rounded to reserves. It rests on small curved legs terminated by leafy clogs. Top of gray marble Sainte Anne. Ornamentation of gilded bronzes. Period Transition Louis XV Louis XVI. 18th century. By Jean-Henri REISENER (1734-1806), not stamped. It is necessary to bring this piece of furniture closer to a similar chest of drawers, delivered by Jean-Henri Riesener in 1779 to Madame Elisabeth's apartment at the Château de Versailles.
