GIRRE (Peter), painter born April 25, 1921 in Chatellerault (Vienna). Attracted very early by painting, he was trained in the prestigious Parisian Academies Julian and Grand Chaumiere. Associate of the Salons of French Artists and Independents, he also exhibited in Lyon, Geneva and at the International Festival of Deauville. He received numerous awards and some of his works are in French and foreign museums (Italy, Portugal in particular). This work, an oil on canvas the years 1960/1970, figure a bouquet of flowers. Titled "Lightness" by the artist and countersigned on the back. Dimensions 40 cm x 30 cm (48 cm x 38 cm with its setting). Work in good condition.
