Empire period clock between 1805 and 1808 repréentant Orpheus, the hero of Greek mythology, son of king of Thrace oeagrus and the Muse Calliope. He knew from the accents of Salyne, charm wild animals and even managed to move inanimate beings. Movement Hardel signed in Paris. Very nice composition, quality of remarkable carving, gilt bronze plinth polished agate is adorned with twelve signs of the zodiac. An identical pendulum signed Ravrio.
