Large bronze sculpture "The memory" signed on the E * Picault Period late 19th century Representing a young woman sitting on a stelle where is written: "Gratitude Is The Memory of the Heart": * Emile Louis is PICAULT 1833-1915 a French sculptor Gate brand refiner: COLIN E. & Cie PARIS * Beautiful bronzed patina, in very good condition. Weight 27 kg * The E.COLIN house and Co. was created in 1882 after Emile COLIN had bought the company E.VIE and Co. Emile COLIN retired in 1898 and replaced by members of his family, from that moment, the name becomes M.COLIN and Co. Emile COLIN he dies in 1899.
