Château D’esclignac, Gers, Small Copper Cauldron, 18th Century.
This little castle has quite a rich history all on its own... In fact, the Château d’Esclignac, located in the Gers department, has always been owned by important figures in French history. I’ll let you discover it for yourself.
Just for the record, the château was purchased in 1986 by brothers Igor and Grichka Bogdanoff.
Now it’s time to get cooking ;)
It’s in very good condition, though there is some normal wear and tear on the circular rim of the lid.
It bears a hallmark that is also visible in the photos.
