Poul Hundevad Rolling Serving Cart
Danish Rolling Side Table
Model PH 23/2, designed by Poul Hundevad in 1961.
This Rio rosewood table features a sliding top that allows it to be combined with the removable lower shelf, thereby doubling the surface area of the upper level.
The table bears its original label, which reads: MADE IN DENMARK – POUL HUNDEVAD, VAMDRUP
It also bears two quality control marks:
Domus Danica: a collective mark associated with the promotion and export of Danish furniture.
Danish Furnituremakers’ Control: a quality control label for the Danish furniture industry. This second mark is particularly noteworthy. It certifies that the piece was manufactured under the Danish furniture quality control system.
