Ange Gloria
Exceptional large antique Gloria angel (late 19th–early 20th century) designed to be hung, for a church nativity scene, made of polychrome plaster
likely produced by the prestigious historic firm “La Statue Religieuse” (though the stamp is missing, which was often the case for hanging angels), and featured in the 1904 catalog as model no. 173.
Excellent condition, no breakage, with its original patina
A spectacular and rare piece, due to its size and delicacy; perfect for a church nativity scene or as a standalone decorative piece because of the intrinsic beauty of the depiction
