Modern Painting Renato Natali Oil On Hardboard XX Century
Artist: Renato Natali
Oil on hardboard. Signed lower right. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from the Lo Zodiaco Art Gallery.
The Livorno-born painter Renato Natali, who was a member of the Labronico group founded in 1920, primarily painted views and scenes of his city and its outskirts, but drew inspiration for the atmospheres and subsequent color choices from his stay in Paris and his encounters with the Parisian art world, in particular by creating his “Parisian palette” right there in Paris—a palette he himself described as consisting of just twelve essential colors.
The work is presented in a frame.
