Antique Ginori Openwork Porcelain Cake Stand, Late 19th Century
A white porcelain openwork centerpiece resting on a baluster foot. The upper part is finely openworked with a lattice-like decoration composed of volutes and stylized heart motifs.
The purity of the porcelain is enhanced by delicate polychrome decal decorations distributed across the entire surface of the piece.
The base bears the green Ginori mark, which allows the piece to be dated to the late 19th century.
Given its shape and size, this bowl can be used as a centerpiece, fruit bowl, vase, or as an elegant decorative piece on a console table or other table.
Excellent condition; there are some signs of wear consistent with the object’s age. Note in particular that the screw securing the bowl to the foot is rusted.
