An Extendable Oval Table Dating From The Late 19th Century
An extendable oval table dating from the late 19th century, crafted from fine, intricately carved thuja burl. The tabletop features a stunning, warm, and uniform grain, enhanced by a refined perimeter inlay that accentuates its elegance.
The frame rests on four truncated-conical legs made of solid wood, embellished with decorative gilt-bronze floral motifs typical of the high-end cabinetmaking of the era. The central extension allows you to conveniently increase the tabletop’s surface area, making the table suitable for both everyday use and formal settings.
A table of great charm and quality, ideal for classic or eclectic settings, perfect as the centerpiece in a prestigious dining room.
