Puiforcat - Silver Trays
An elegant solid silver trinket dish from the prestigious Puiforcat house, one of the greatest names in 20th-century French silverwork.
With a slightly flared circular shape, it rests on a small pedestal and features a particularly refined repoussé design. The exterior is adorned with a pattern of broad gadroons evoking the petals of a flower, while the interior reveals a finely chiseled rosette radiating from the center, giving the piece a remarkable sense of depth and light.
The quality of craftsmanship, the perfect symmetry of the reliefs, and the mirror-like polish attest to the exceptional expertise of the Puiforcat workshops.
In very fine condition, with no chips or other damage; there are some slight variations in the color of the silver on the inside of the bowl.
French work from the second half of the 20th century, bearing the Minerva hallmark and signed PUIFORCAT - PARIS.
