émile Gallé (1846–1904) – Nancy - Blue Mushroom-shaped Lamp Made Of Multilayered Glass
Art Nouveau table lamp made of multilayered glass, mushroom-shaped, consisting of a tall, tapered baluster base and a wide, flared conical shade.
Crafted from multi-layered glass etched in cameo style, it features a sumptuous naturalistic design of blooming hydrangeas, accompanied by delicately rendered foliage and stems. The piece is distinguished by remarkable shades of azure blue, deep blue, and soft green, set against a luminous opalescent white background.
The generously flared shade rests on a patinated bronze frame with curved arms. The slender stem, adorned with matching floral motifs, rests on a circular base in shades of emerald green.
Double signature “Gallé”, visible on both the lampshade and the stem.
