Three-panel Painted Folding Screen, Decorated With Birds And Lake Landscapes, 20th Century
An elegant 20th-century folding screen consisting of three hinged panels, upholstered in velvet in a warm terracotta shade.
The decorative side features delicate paintings depicting herons and birds moving among aquatic vegetation, reeds, and water lilies. The soft shades of green, blue, and cream create a naturalistic scene full of poetry.
The edges of the panels are accented with decorative trim, while the solid-color velvet reverse highlights the simplicity of its finish.
Both decorative and functional, this folding screen allows you to elegantly define a space, create an intimate corner, or add an original touch to a classic or eclectic interior.
