Set Of Ceramics With Geometric Decoration, In The Style Of Robert Picault – 20th Century
A beautiful set of glazed ceramics consisting of 18 plates in two sizes, a carafe with a stopper, and a vase.
The plates feature a variety of geometric patterns in shades of blue-green, reddish-brown, and cream, creating a harmonious and graphic ensemble.
With their motifs and color palette, these pieces evoke the aesthetic of postwar French ceramics, particularly certain works by Robert Picault and the Vallauris School.
The pieces bear a handwritten signature on the reverse, accompanied by the words “Fait main” (Handmade). The ceramicist has yet to be identified; no formal attribution has been made.
