Authentic and rare airline pilot/captain's cap from the Italian airline ALITALIA. This historic model dates from the 1950s–1960s (the period preceding the 1969 tricolor logo), which corresponds to the golden age of Italian civil aviation.
Features:

• Original front insignia: A magnificent badge embroidered with thick gold thread, depicting the airline’s historic emblem (the bow and arrow) surrounded by a lush laurel wreath.
• Chin strap: Double black twisted officer’s cord.
• Interior: Original lining with its protective plastic film intact.
• Manufacturer: Clearly visible period label under the plastic: "Berrettificio V. Zecca - Via d'Aracoeli 35 - ROMA".

In good overall condition for its age, with a few minor flaws (visible in the photos). The navy blue fabric is in good condition, the shiny peak is securely in place, and the gold thread embroidery has retained all its luster.
