Patinated & Gilded Bronze Watch Holder 19th-century Antique Oil Lamp: A Souvenir From The Grand Tour

The arched handle, chased with plant motifs, ends in an eagle’s head whose beak holds a hook designed to suspend a pocket watch.
The assembly rests on a gilded bronze pedestal, adorned with acanthus leaves, set on a rectangular base of Siena marble.
